Transmedia was a studio I conceived and ran at Art Center College of Design from 2008 till 2011 when I moved to Europe. My interest was to generate a studio that behaved like an R&D Lab, open to exploration. Most of the students came to Transmedia at mid or early points in their undergraduate studies with no prior experience working with space and time-based media. The specific aim of the studio was to develop artwork for an exhibition or site-specific installation, and to document it with an exhibition catalogue.
